Sault Ste. Marie – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An eastern U.P. man is heading to trial in a home invasion and assault case.
The trial of twenty-four-year old Jameon Cox of Sault Ste. Marie is scheduled to begin on April 13th in Chippewa County Circuit Court.
Cox has been charged with five total counts including first-degree home invasion and assault by strangulation in connection with a home invasion and assault that happened in early November at a residence on Mackinac Trail in Sault Ste. Marie.
Court officials say the trial should last approximately three days.
