Wallet Stolen at Marquette Bar, Police Asking for Help

    Great Lakes Radio NewsMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Marquette City Police are looking for the public’s help in their investigation into the theft of a wallet earlier this week.

    Police say a man was at the Wild Rover in downtown Marquette on Tuesday when he put his wallet on the bar as he began to put his winter coat on before leaving. He told police that after putting the coat on he realized his wallet had been stolen.

    Video surveillance at the establishment found that as the man was putting his coat on, the wallet was taken from the bar by a woman who had a male accomplice. They were able to leave the scene before the man noticed the wallet had been taken.
