State Police Encourage Public Vigilance For Safety

    Negaunee, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan State Police are reminding residents of their role in keeping the state safe by reporting suspicious activity.

    State Police officials say that homeland security starts with hometown security and if something seems suspicious or out of place to not hesitate to report it to law enforcement.

    In emergency situations, suspicious activity can be reported by calling 9-1-1.

    For non-emergencies, suspicious activity can be called in to the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center at 1-855-MICH-TIP or online at michigan.gov/michtip.
