MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – It didn’t take long for gas prices to shoot back up in Michigan.
Just as Triple A Michigan reported on Monday that the statewide average dipped almost 8 cents a gallon, by the end of the day it rose more than six cents to just under $3.90.
Grand Rapids-based GasBuddy.com puts today’s average at $3.94 a gallon. The price has topped four-dollars a gallon in many areas across the state.
GasBuddy reports a high of nearly $4.20 a gallon at stations in Romulus near Metro Airport and Paw Paw, west of Kalamazoo in Van Buren County.
