Escanaba, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Senator Tom Casperson has formally announced a run for Congress.
The Escanaba Republican called in to the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about his running for the seat in the U.S. House of Representatives currently held by Republican Dan Benishek.
Benishek is retiring at the end of his current term.
Casperson says he is entering the race to continue legislative efforts he started on the state level.
