MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Governor Rick Snyder seems to be softening on his position concerning right-to-work legislation.
The governor had previously said he would rather not deal with the issue at this point, but yesterday said right-to-work legislation is (quote) “on the agenda for thoughtful discussion,” but he would not say whether the bill would be taken up this year.
After emerging from a meeting with Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville and House Speaker Jase Bolger, Snyder said they were having discussions on right-to-work but that they had not made any decisions.
