Investigation into Break-In in Palmer Continues

    Investigation into break-in and vehicular theft continuesMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Marquette County Sheriff’s Deputies are continuing their investigation into the break-in of Fran’s Service station in Palmer last month.

    Deputies have been working with the Dickinson County and the Marinette County Sheriff’s Offices on possible connections to the break-in.

    Authorities in Marinette County, WI are investigating the theft of a 1999 Chevy Silverado Pickup reported stolen on November 16. At the time of the theft, the truck had a red topper over the bed of the truck and there was a handgun in the vehicle.

    In the morning hours of November 19, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s office recovered the stolen pickup without the topper. The topper and the handgun remain missing. About the same time on November 19, a vehicle which had been reported stolen out of Felch in Dickinson County was recovered in Marinette County, WI. Both stolen vehicles were processed for evidence in Dickinson County with the assistance of Deputies from Marquette and Marinette County.
