Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police say one person was injured in a car-pedestrian accident this morning.
The accident was reported just before 8:00 o’clock at the intersection of Fair and Norway avenues near the NMU campus.
Police say a vehicle that was southbound on Norway turned left onto Fair avenue and hit a female pedestrian who was crossing the street.
The pedestrian was taken to UP Health Systems-Marquette for treatment of injuries.
Her condition is not known at this time, and no names have been released.
The investigation into the accident is continuing.
