MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan State Police report that 7 people were killed on Michigan roads over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Troopers say alcohol was a factor in 3 of the seven separate accidents. One of the seven fatalities was known to have not been using the seat belt.
Seven is the same number of fatalities on Michigan roads over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend last year.
