MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Gas prices are up six cents a gallon in Michigan this week.
Triple-A Michigan reports the current statewide average is just under $3.47 per gallon. That’s down over 35 cents in a month and is now just under a penny less than last year at this time.
Triple-A says that the lowest average price among the cities it surveys, was found in the Saginaw/Bay City area at $3.37 per gallon. The highest price was in Metro Detroit at nearly $3.50.
Dearborn-based ‘Triple A Michigan’ surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.
