Busy Start To School Year At NICE Community Schools

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The school year kicked off with a great start this year at the NICE Community Schools and it does not appear to be letting up.

    District Superintendent Bryan DeAugustine joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today for the latest installment of the “Tuesday Superintendent Series”.

    DeAugustine said the district has been moving along with a series of facilities improvements and is looking at plans for more work in light of some positive enrollment numbers.

    He also said their has been a very successful and active program that is continuing with Northern Michigan University for Career and Technical Education classes that are giving students a wider array of choices when they look past graduation.

    DeAugustine also discussed some of the upcoming district’s arts and performance programs as well as successes in their Business Professionals of America student group.
