MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A planned road closure in Schoolcraft County by M-DOT has been cancelled.
At this time, M-DOT will not be closing M-94 in Manistique as expected. The possible closure was announced yesterday afternoon, but now has been rescinded.
The city, its consultant and its contractor are still investigating the source of a water leak that is affecting a business. As this time, it is believed that the leak is located in a service line beneath the sidewalk.
If a lane closure is required for repairs, it will be announced later when needed.
