Police Looking For Public’s Help: Father Marquette Statue Vandalized

    Police looking for publics help in vandalism case in MarquetteMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police are looking for the public’s help as they investigate a case of vandalism involving the Father Marquette statue in South Marquette.

    Police say the statue was vandalized with red paint sprayed on the face and chest sometime between last Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The vandalism was discovered yesterday afternoon.

    The Marquette Beautification Committee is offering a $500.00 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
