Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio) – The Marquette Royales have their home opener for the season this weekend at Lakeview Arena.
Head Coach Jim Stanaway and Goalie Kyle Mugica joined Sports Guy Mike Plourde on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to preview the series.
Stanaway talked about their opponent, the Tri-City Icehawks, and their current standing at the top of the USPHL Eastern Conference.
Stanaway said that they should be a good test for the Royales.
Mugica talked about being a goalie for the Royales and how he is looking forward to hitting the ice at Lakeview Arena for the first time in front of a home crowd.
The games are at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and Saturday and they remind the fans that this year, there are no Sunday games.
