Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City police responded to a multiple vehicle crash yesterday afternoon on Wright Street.
The accident happened just after 12:30 p.m. near Industrial Parkway when several vehicles had stopped to allow a group of bicyclists to cross the roadway.
A tandem-trailer semi-truck was unable to stop in time and avoid hitting the last vehicle, causing a chain-reaction crash.
Three people were taken to UP Health System – Marquette while another sought their own treatment.
The accident remains under investigation and no names have been released.
