Police Investigating Home Invasion Last Night in Marquette

    Marquette City Police are investigating a home invasion MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police are investigating a home invasion last night at a residence on Ohio Street.

    Police were called to 229 West Ohio Street around 8:45 p.m. on a report of several masked men breaking into the home, assaulting a resident and stealing some items, including a small safe, before fleeing in a red car.

    The victims told Police that while they were watching TV, three men dressed in black with black bandanas over their faces and hoods over their heads entered their home.  The male victim was pushed down onto a couch and was punched by the intruders.

    No significant injuries were reported by the victims.  The suspects were described as having darker skin and may have been possibly Hispanic or Native American.  The two the men were described as tall with one having a long dark ponytail down his back.  The third suspect was described as being shorter than the other two.
