MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) –Michigan will be getting 78 new state troopers at the end of this week.
The Michigan State Police will hold the graduation ceremony for the 123rd Trooper Recruit School on Friday at the Lansing Center, just a few blocks east of the state Capitol.
The keynote speaker will be Governor Rick Snyder. The last Trooper Recruit School in 2010 resulted in 35 new officers.
