MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Dead River Derby is a new Marquette area woman’s roller derby league. The group open to skaters and volunteers of all levels.
Amy Lakenen, outreach representative of the Dead River Derby stopped by the SUNNY Studios today to talk about the group’s recruiting night coming up on Thursday night at Stucko’s Pub in Marquette.
Dead River Derby is the Upper Peninsula’s third women’s roller derby league and is the official amateur league for derby for the north central U.P.
