MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) –The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of Marquette General Hospital, is currently in critical need of three types of blood in four of their U.P. service areas.
The need for A-negative, O-negative and O-postive blood is high in Marquette, Escanaba, Iron Mountain, and Sault Ste. Marie.
Blood Center officials are asking those who have not donated in the last 8 weeks to take the time to give the “gift of life.” You can donate in the Marquette area at the U.P. Regional Blood Center in Marquette at 427 West College Avenue adjacent to Marquette General Hospital.
You can also donate at Blood Centers in Escanaba, Iron Mountain and Sault Ste. Marie.
