MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A long-running family-friendly community event celebrates it’s 10th anniversary this weekend in Marquette Township.
Applebee’s Restaurant is hosting the 10th Annual Applebee’s Hot Rod and Classic Car Show. The event will be held this Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the restaurant off U.S. 41 next to the Westwood Mall.
Store Manager Brian Lopac stopped in on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to let folks know the show is open to any and all classic car owners and hot rodders and registration is open right up until 9:00 a.m.
Brian also said that the first 50 registrants get a commemorative 10th Anniversary Car Show T-shirt and that spectators and entrants both can bring some non-perishable food items that are being collected by St. Vincent dePaul for their food pantries.
