MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Senator Tom Casperson called into the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to give an update on legislative happenings in the 38th District.
Casperson discussed the recent week-long visit of Governor Rick Snyder in the district and how stories of some programs and businesses that are successful here in the U.P. are heading back to Lansing with the Governor.
He also chatted about some possible changes to funding for K-12 schools and expectations in higher education discussions that he feels need to be made that place a greater value on so called “vocational” instruction and career paths.
