Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – 110th Disirict State Representative Scott Dianda and Michigan House Minority Leader Tim Greimel joined News Director Walt Lindala today to talk about the latest happenings in Lansing.
The Calumet Democrat is touring areas of the U.P. with Greimel and they stopped in on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about a wide array of issues.
First on the docket was a series of town hall meetings Dianda is currently holding in his district that are focusing on energy generation in Michigan and the U.P.’s energy dependence.
Dianda and Greimel also talked about the so-called “Dark Stores” issue and legislation Dianda has introduced to attempt to alleviate the tax revenue shortfalls created by the recent Michigan Tax Tribunal rulings.
They also weighed in on the current lack of action on the road funding debate at the State Capitol.
Finally, before the two Democrats wrapped up, House Minority Leader Greimel shared his thoughts on the investigation into Republican House members Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat, who have been embroiled in a controversy over attempts to cover up an extramarital affair.
