MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, or UPAWS, has several activities and specials coming up for fans of cats and dogs.
Ann Brownell with UPAWS joined Walt Lindala and Mike Plourde this morning to talk about some of the things coming up at the shelter including the current “Over Three for Free” cat adoption special going on through this Saturday.
Ann also discussed the annual “Strut Your Mutt” fundraiser that is coming up in September at Mattson Lower Harbor Park and is open to all dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds.
