MARQUETTE. MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – After last year’s high number of drownings in Lake Superior off of the City of Marquette’s public beaches, the city aggressively launched a campaign to prevent future drownings.
Marquette City Manager Bill Vajda stopped in on the Sunny Morning Show to talk about the progress of the effort to reduce the danger for swimmers on Marquette beaches as well as how this very warm summer has resulted in another very busy, but considerably safer season so far.
