
Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Gwinn man has been arrested following an investigation into a breaking and entering of a Marquette residence last week.
25-year-old Robert Oakland was arrested Wednesday after Marquette Police identified him as the suspect in the break-in that happened last Saturday.
Oakland is alleged to have entered the home and stolen $10,000 from a safe.
He was arrested in Gwinn at a residence where a large amount of the stolen money was found.
He was charged with one felony count of Home Invasion and one felony count of 2nd Degree Safe Breaking.
He faces a District Court appearance on August 18th.
