Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An annual Marquette musical reunion is underway this weekend featuring members of several bands that made up the musical scene in the area in the early 1980’s.
“Scene And Reheard 2015” is being held Friday night at 9:00 o’clock at the Dry Dock Bar in Harvey and at My Place Lounge at the Holiday Inn in Marquette Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
All proceeds raised over the weekend will benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Marquette and Alger Counties.
Jayne Letts of Big Brothers/Big Sisters joined Walt Lindala on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the weekend events and how folks can come out and show their support and enjoy some great music.
Three of the weekend’s musical participants and organizers, Ron Carnell, Scott Kirtley and Dean Moilanen also joined in to talk about how this year’s reunion came to be and who is on the weekend’s bill.
