Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof and State Senator Tom Casperson stopped by the SUNNY Studios this morning to talk road funding legislation and a lot more.
Senators Meekhof and Casperson joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike and shared their thoughts on the recently passed legislation in the Senate that seeks a graduated gas tax increase to step up funding of road repair and rebuilding in Michigan.
The measure is currently facing an uphill battle in the Michigan House.
They also talked about proposed legislation addressing a loophole in current Michigan open-carry and concealed weapon laws concerning gun-free zones.
