League of Women Voters Holding Candidate Forums And Seeking Questions

Marquette, MI – September 16, 2020 – The League of Women Voters of Marquette County is hosting two Candidate Forums for the upcoming November 3rd elections, and they want to hear from you.

Darlene Allen, President of the LWV of Marquette County, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the forums and explained how you can get involved.

Allen said there will be forums for the candidates running for the Marquette City Commission, which will be held on September 30th, and for Marquette County Sheriff candidates on October 8th.

She explained that the forums will be conducted virtually and recorded via Zoom and made available on the local League Facebook page “League of Women Voters of Marquette County” and their website lwvmqt.org.

Allen said if you have a question you’d like to ask the candidates, send it to the League of Women Voters of Marquette County by email to dthomsona@gmail.com by September 18th.  You can also send in your questions via their website and Facebook page.
