Hiawatha Music Co-Op Presenting Weekly Live Online Musical Performances

Harp, Hart & Bones perform online at “Live at the Fold”.

Marquette, MIAugust 12, 2020 – The Hiawatha Music Co-Op is continuing their mission of supporting and presenting traditional music to the public during the coronavirus pandemic.

Co-Op Executive Director Susan Divine joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about their weekly online concert series “Live at the Fold”.  Divine explained that even though the co-op’s regular shows and their marquee event, the annual traditional music festival held each July in Marquette, were cancelled this year due to the coronavirus outbreak, they are continuing to showcase and support musicians with the virtual concert series.

Divine said the series features musicians from the Marquette area as well as around the country and gives them a chance to perform live at their offices on 3rd Street in Marquette as well as at remote locations.  The shows are streamed live every Thursday evening at 7:00 on the Hiawatha Music Co-Op’s Facebook page.
