Negaunee Schools Putting Bond Proposal Before Voters August 4th

Marquette, MIJuly 16, 2020 – The Negaunee Public School District is asking for a .99-mill bond proposal that would give the district eight and a half million dollars for upgrades over 25 years.

District Superintendent Dan Skewis joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the proposal.

Skewis says, if approved, the millage would allow for improvements to 31 classrooms and make library renovations at the middle and high schools.

He added that the funds would also spent on new technology and to build an indoor sports practice facility.

The millage goes before voters on Tuesday, August 4th.

  1. I would not give them anything!! They refused to do anything about the bullying problem they have in that school system
