Lake Superior Community Partnership Assisting Local Business With COVID Recovery

Marquette, MI – (06/23/20) – The Lake Superior Community Partnership is working with local businesses to help them as they begin to reopen and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.  LSCP CEO Amy Clickner joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about how the partnership is assisting in the recovery.

Clickner said the partnership has been actively connecting with area businesses, providing appropriate services and resources, supporting local purchasing and serving as a place for business owners and mangers to find current and factual information.

She added that the LSCP has created a COVID-19 specific website that is updated with all pertinent information as restrictions are lifted in Michigan.  The website is available HERE.

Clickner also encouraged to public to shop locally and support area businesses of all sizes as that can serve as the best tool to help rebuild the local and state economy.  She talked about the LSCP’s new Love on Local gift card program that promotes shopping at local small businesses and how the program will help with the restart of Marquette County.
