Marquette, MI – (05/29/20) – The Michigan Supreme Court Office of Dispute Resolution has unveiled an online dispute resolution tool available in Marquette and Alger counties.

Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Bridget Mary McCormack joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the MI-Resolve program. McCormack explained that the program provides an accessible way of solving disputes online that are typically filed in courts.

She said the service allows parties to go online to negotiate directly, or have a mediator help them resolve their dispute. If it is resolved, the system produces the necessary court forms for filing.

McCormack added that the service is free with no cost to the parties or courts.
