Marquette, MI – (05/27/20) – The UP Regional Blood Center has a severe critical need for O-, A-, A+, B- blood types. The Center has collection sites in Marquette, Hancock and Escanaba and is the primary supplier of blood to 13 UP hospitals.
Rachel Heath with the Blood Center joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the need and said that the blood is needed as activity at those hospitals is increasing.
Heath said the Marquette Center at 427 West College Avenue is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8 a.m to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays.
