Marquette, MI – (04/30/20) – Marquette County Sheriff Greg Zyburt checked in with Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the impacts made by the coronavirus pandemic on his office.
Zyburt said that the Stay Home, Stay Safe executive order has resulted in less major traffic accidents and DUI arrests that deputies are responding to. He also explained that domestic calls are down over numbers from this time last year.
He also talked about how operational matters are being managed at the Marquette County Jail and jails around the state due to the continuing pandemic.
