Marquette, MI – (11/21/19) – The Marquette Food Co-Op is hosting the 2019 Central U.P. Food Summit this Friday in Marquette. Food Co-Op Education Coordinator Sarah Monte joined Mark & Walt in the Morning this week to promote the gathering and how you can take part.
Monte said the Summit brings together local food producers and community members who care about where their food comes from and supporting local business. She added that the goal is to create a strong local food network in the Upper Peninsula.
The Summit runs from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. this Friday at the Masonic Square in downtown Marquette.
