Marquette, MI – (11/15/19) – The Superior Arts Youth Theater is presenting Disney’s Frozen, Jr. November 21st through the 24th at the Forest Roberts Theatre on the NMU campus.
SAYT Executive director Jalina McClain and cast member Avonlea Kuhlman joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to preview this family favorite. McClain said the show is based on the 2018 Broadway musical that brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life.
She added that the production features the memorable songs from the animated film plus new songs written for the Broadway show.
Kuhlman, an 11-year-old veteran of 15 shows, plays the role of Young Elsa in the show and said she likes this show because of all of the new kids who came and auditioned and she said her favorite part of this production is the people.
The show runs Thursday, November 21, Friday, November 22 at 7:00pm, Saturday, November 23 at 1:00pm and 7:00pm and on Sunday, November 24 at 1:00pm. Tickets are available online HERE.
