Marquette, MI – (mediaBrew Communications) – The Marquette Area Blues Society and The Ore Dock Brewing Company are teaming up this Friday, September 27th for a night of rollicking blues for a great cause.
MABS President Mark Hamari joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about “Tom Around The World”, the latest installment of a nationwide concert series to help raise money for Marquette native Tom Hyslop’s battle against cancer.
Hamari said the doors open at 6:00pm, with music starting at 7:00pm with Marquette’s Flat Broke Blues Band, followed by Felix Reyes and Paul Linden from Chicago, Rockin’ Johnny Burgin from California, and Devil’s Elbow from St. Louis.
He added that there will be some special guests, including guitarists Travis Swanson and Jon McDonald.
Hamari said there is a suggested donation of $10 at the door, so grab some friends, put on your dancing shoes, and let’s pack the place and raise a boatload of money to help out a great friend!
