Pictured Rocks Blues Cruise Benefits Upper Peninsula Arts & Culture Alliance

Marquette, MI – (mediaBrewCommunications) – A special sunset cruise of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is happening this Friday evening in Alger County to benefit a newly-formed U.P.-wide arts group.

The inaugural Blues Cruise Fundraiser is gathering financial support for the Upper Peninsula Arts & Culture Alliance, which is a co-operative of arts and cultural groups and agencies from all 15 counties in the U.P.

Taylor Kulju, Communications Specialist with the U.P. Arts & Culture Alliance, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to get folks to come out and enjoy a fun evening to help out arts and cutural efforts around the region.

Kulju said the cruise departs from Munising at 5:30 p.m. and will feature on-board live music by the Flat Broke Blues Band, food and drink and much more.

She added that there are still a few tickets available and they can be purchased online at the U.P. Arts & Culture Alliance website, at on Friday at the pier.
