Marquette, MI – (mediaBrew Communications) – Fundraising for the new Steve Mariucci Family Beacon House in Marquette is showing success, but there is still a way to go and you can help out.
Mary Dowling, Beacon House CEO stopped in the Sunny Studios and was joined via the phone by Steve Mariucci to talk about the fundraising campaign and share an update on the effort.
Mariuicci said the goal of raising $3 million to get phase 1 of the construction is going well, but they currently have about $700,000 left to raise.
He said the $3 million will allow the construction to begin with no real debt, which is important to the financial stability and future of the Beacon House.
Dowling talked about the ways people can get involved, including the 906 After Work Party this Friday, September 6th at 5:30 pm on the Hampton Inn Boardwalk in Marquette.
They added that the easiest way to help out is to visit the Beacon House website at upbeaconhouse.org and click the “DONATE” button to give generously.
