Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio) – The Northern Michigan Hockey Wildcats are playing this Sunday outdoors on the ice rink at Lions Field in Marquette Township.
Township Manager Randy Girard joined the Sunny Morning Show today to talk about this special family-friendly event.
Girard said the NMU intrasquad game happens at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday and all hockey fans are encouraged to attend.
He added that it’s a great chance for fans to see the Wildcats play “up close and personal”, and there will be chances for for kids to get some photos and autographs from the players.
Girard said the game should take about an hour or so, and everyone should bundle up and come on out to cheer on the NMU Hockey Wildcats at Lions Field in Marquette Township.
