Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Some great events are on the horizon in Negaunee and Ishpeming.
Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Hendrickson joined the Sunny Morning Show today to talk about the Heikki Lunta Winter Festival and the 132nd Annual Ishpeming Ski Jumping Tournamnet.
Hendrickson said the Heikki Lunta events are scheduled for this coming Friday and Saturday in Negaunee and feature a wide array of family-friendly activities, including a parade, fat tire bike race, a bonfire and fireworks.
He also talked about the 132nd Ishpeming Ski Club Suicide Hill Ski Jumping Tournament coming up on Tuesday, January 22nd at the Suicide Ski Bowl, located at the Ishpeming Ski Club in Negaunee, Michigan.
The event will begin with trial runs starting at 6:00 pm.
