Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette St. Vincent DePaul store has partnered with the Thrivent Members Network for Giving Tuesday this year.
Jen Retchko, Assistant Manager of the store, joined the Sunny Morning Show recently to talk about the day’s activities.
Retchko said on Tuesday, November 27th, from 10:00am to 6:00pm they will be accepting monetary donations in store at 2119 Presque Isle Avenue in Marquette, and anyone who donates $5.00 or more, will receive a 20% Coupon for the store.
Retchko added that they will also have cookies and refreshments, as well as an ornament making station, all free of charge, and all donations will go directly back to the community via their Christmas Toy Program and the Thrivent Members Network will be matching donations 2 to 1.
Community members can stop into the store during donation hours, Thrivent members will be able to donate online, or stop at Messiah Lutheran church who will also be hosting Giving Tuesday.
