City Of Marquette Hosting Open House To Discuss Land Development Code Changes

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The City of Marquette is holding an open house next week focusing on proposed changes to the city’s Land Development Code.

Marquette City Planner and Zoning Administrator Dave Stensass joined the Sunny Morning Show today to discuss the LDC and what some of the proposed changes are.

Stensass said LDC has been created modernize and streamline current codes and zoning ordinances and blend them together into one user-friendly document.

The open house is happening at 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 23rd at the Citizen’s Forum at Lakeview Arena in Marquette, and all interested parties are asked to attend.

Stensass added that the session is intended to give residents the opportunity to hear from the planning commission, city staff and others about the proposed changes and to ask questions and voice their opinions about them.
