    Gwinn woman arrested, charged with embezzlementMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)A Marquette County woman is currently free on bond after being arrested and charged with felony embezzlement.

    Angie Spaulding of Gwinn was arrested last week and charged with embezzlement of more than $1,000 and less than $20,000 from the Marquette St. Vincent DePaul agency.

    The embezzlement was discovered by the agency’s executive director while reviewing financial records and documents.  The Executive Director went to Marquette Police and following a month-long investigation, evidence showed over $10,000 had been charged on the St. Vincent’s credit card by Spaulding for her personal use.

    The charge of embezzling the amount from a charitable or non-profit agency is a 10 year felony while the theft and use of the credit card without consent is a four year felony.
