GM recall's over 400,000 vehicles

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A pair of recall notices were announced Friday by General Motors affecting 430,000 vehicles.

The automaker says transmission gear shift cables may not match the gear on the shifter. The problem could lead to vehicles rolling away when drivers thought the car was in park.

Over 426,000 Chevrolet Malibu, Saturn Aura and Pontiac G6 vehicles from 2007 to 2010 are involved.  The second recall involves over 4,700 2013 Chevrolet Sonic models which have a faulty turn signal bulb.

No accidents or injuries have been reported due to the defects.
