Marquette City Commission Meets This Tuesday Due To Holiday

Marquette, MIOctober 12, 2020 – Marquette City Manager Mike Angeli joined the show today to preview tomorrow night’s meeting of the Marquette City Commission.  Angeli explained that the meeting will not be held this evening as usual due to the Columbus Day holiday.

Angeli said the Commission will be hearing an update on the work being done to retire and demolish the Presque Isle Power Plant.

The Commission is also holding a pair of public hearings including one for the Customs House Brownfield Plan for a project planned at the corner of Baraga Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard.

The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and will be held remotely online. It can be viewed live at the City of Marquette’s YouTube page as well as on Spectrum Cable Channel 191.
