Marquette, MI – October 9, 2020 – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Ford is continuing their dedicated fight against breast cancer through the Warriors in Pink program. It helps eliminate mobility barriers so that those battling the disease can focus on getting better and stronger.
Jeanna English, Ford Brand Content Alliance Marketing Manager, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning this week to talk about the program and how it helps in the fight against breast cancer.
English explained that Ford Warriors in Pink dedicates 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of clothing and accessories to organizations like Susan G. Komen and The Pink Fund to help warriors move.
She said working by with them, they provide grants to help with transportation needs or assistance with car payments, direct financial aid, free mammograms.
They also support breast cancer research and education, and the Warriors in Pink program has raised more than $138 million to date.
