Marquette, MI – October 8, 2020 – Michigan lawmakers are back at work in Lansing. After recent legal decisions nullified her coronavirus executive orders, Governor Gretchen Whitmer urged the legislature to come back to work to address the related public health and safety issues.
Republican leaders called the Senate to go into session today to vote on “time-sensitive” measures to keep Michigan families safe from the coronavirus. The House will be back in session next Tuesday.
State Senator Ed McBroom called in to Mark & Walt in the Morning today as the Senate session was getting ready to start with a full update on what was on the day’s docket.
