The 45th Annual Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival is now in full swing this weekend at Marquette’s Tourist Park – and it is business as usual at one of the citys largest and most treasured festivals. hiawatha-traditional-music-festival-2025

What began nearly a month ago with the Pre-fest concert at the Ore Dock Brewing company featuring Youngman & Oldmen, more or less kicked off with Fridays Pre-Fest Kid’s parade at Lower Harbor led by Frank Youngman and led into Crafts & Activities at the ‘Teen Scene’ and three perfomances in the ‘Dance Tent’!

It’s tents, campers, bikes, big blankets, and lawn chairs as far as the eye can see – Saturday has been a big full day of good music and good times! At the time of writing all that’s left on the schedule for Saturday is:

Main Stage

  • 8:15 Mulebone
  • 9:40 Pixie & The Partygrass Boys
  • 11:05 Tony Trischka’s Earl Jam ft. Michael Daveshiawatha-traditional-music-festival-2025

  • 10:00 ORGANGRINDERS

and for tomorrow, Sunday, July 20th, you can see here or follow the link below!

Candice Blackstone-Larson, Festival Director and Hiawatha Music Co-Op Executive Director, spoke about the weekend  with Mark & Walt in the Morning – and you can listen to that here!

While day 2 is nearly over, there is still plenty of fun to be had – you can find the full Festival performer lineup and ticket information on their website at www.hiawathamusic.org.
