Negaunee, Michigan – December 19, 2018 – It seems that most everyone has some kind of family holiday tradition.
Every year, as far back as I can remember, my mother has insisted we make gingerbread houses around Christmastime.
So of course, we made them again this year.
Clockwise from left you will see my son Holden, myself, my sister Lindsay, my nephew Titan, my dad Ken, my husband Cody, and my mom Lisa as we all happily work on our gingerbread houses.
The little boys love it. They slop on frosting and candies left and right, making sure to eat one, put one on their house, eat one, put one on their house, etc. etc.
It really is fun, and it’s a great chance to spend some quality time with family.
So, we will continue the Niemisto Family Tradition of making gingerbread houses and making a Gingerbread Village on my mother’s kitchen hutch.
Keep up with me on The Sunny Morning Show weekdays 6-10AM on sunny.fm 101.9.
